This is very close to done so I'm bumping it to 3.0.

Isnu has completed this, it just needs to go into the Plone and Plumi SVN and be tested.

Isnu is the person to talk to for the the plone/plumi po files. It might be easiest for him to send them to you and then for you to add them. I think he was having some difficulties doing it himself. Sending his email offline.

I can't click the little Indonesian flag (logged out or logged in) for it to go into Indonesian to test this.

Have spoken with Dimo and apparently the switch language issue is a css problem. Dimo gave me a work around by going to http://latest-v.plumi.org/?set_language=id
However there seem to be problems here. If you compare it to Isnu's Plone 3 site at http://video.kombinasi.net/about-us/switchLanguage?set_language=id you'll notice immediately quite a few things are missing - e.g publish/browse, search, login/register etc.
Apparently The Plone translation hasn't been officially registered and the plumi buildout is overriding things. I suggest we leave this ticket open until the Plone translation has been officially accepted and we've had Isnu go through and check everything his done is there. Please advise and I can ping Isnu (if he's not on the list) to have a look.

Still some issues here and have discussed with Dimo. Decided to push this to 3.0-final in order to stay on schedule with the releases.

The Indonesian translation works fine as far as I can tell. All the Indonesian messages that appear in http://video.kombinasi.net/ seem to appear in latest-v as well. The only exceptions are the "publish" and "browse" messages which cannot be translated because they are inside a static text portlet which is created on install. Static portlets are not translatable but their contents can be easily customized by the site admin.
Perhaps we should look for another way to configure this portlet for 3.1 in order to make it translatable.
In order for the Plone tranlation files to be included in the next Plone release, Isnu should send them to the Plone i18n working group: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/plone-i18n http://plone.org/support/forums/i18n

From looking around the translation is not bad but I can see quite a few things that haven't been translated. My feeling at this stage is to tick this off for 3.0 and then to add individual tickets regarding untranslated elements for 3.1.
