This is something I think will increase videomakers investment in our site, as blogging about their work or about online video, or us doing the same, is different to posting a news item. Pyschologically speaking.

Also Critical Commons want this - but also want some other functionality that comes along with blogs (often) including archives and categories.

Thus Andy and I agreed it would be a cool thing to include in Plumi (and 0.3 most likely, considering CC want it, so we would have to prioritise it to an earlier release than we would otherwise).

I hope you are thinking in terms of modularisation for this. If not, then maybe this should be moved back into the EM trac.

I think the more things that are added into plumi, the less usable it is by anybody.

The blog functionality may be desired, but not always - see iCommons and the other fella looking to remove events, news, etc.

Some people just want some of the functionality and being more flexible works better for us I think.

Well Andy and I thought it was a function that would sit well in the package. But we can discuss :)
