Make adding a thumbnail compulsory

On EM at least many videos get uploaded without a thumbnail making a tiresome task for editors to go in and add one by hand. It would make many lives easier to make adding the thumbnail compulsory, as long as there was a way to notify user of it before they got to the end of their upload and it failed cause they missed the field.

Not sure if something like this is being worked on for the plone3 version of plumi but I found that thumnails can be auto genrated using vlc according to this thread. If it could be added to the indytube script it could be automated.

Reckon this needs some more thinking about, as it may be better dealt with by waiting for auto thumb generation as per ilikestuff's comment above. Bumping to 0.3
