The button for subtitling does not appear for me on Safari 5.0 or Firefox 3.5.7 on Mac 0S 10.4.11.
(FYI I am using my old Powerbook as my macbook pro fell over just before leaving Melbourne).
Will update browsers to latest avail for my machine see if that helps..

Cannot test this further, as the subtitles layer doesn't appear in my updated browsers (Safari 5.0.6 and FourTenFox? 8.0 - almost the same code as Firefox 8.0 - running on Mac OS 10.4.11).
Will try to find another computer to use to test this soon.
According to Andrew (MacBookPro? INTEL? Latest FF) - the subtitles displayed properly, he could click to add a subtitle through UniSubs? - after logging into their site - and the subtitles displayed on the video player in Plumi. So sounds like its working well.
Unweb - do you have any idea of the browser compatibility of Universal Subtitles, what we should expect in this regard?

Subtitles don't seem to appear on IE 8. Tried to look up browser / platform support for unisubs, but can't find a document outlining which are supported specifically.
Suppose this is just something we will have to accept. Will tick this off for now, and do some more extensive testing when the beta comes out. Will make sense to indicate in the manual which browsers to recommend people to use.
